FOR Patients

Your experience matters. Your story helps students learn.

Virtual Patient Education connects adults with communication and swallowing disorders with graduate clinicians in medical speech-language pathology through live, supervised virtual sessions that support learning and connection.

Why patients participate

Where the abstract becomes real.

Many adult patients want to remain engaged, connected, and purposeful, especially after experiencing changes to their communication, swallowing, or cognitive abilities.

By participating in Virtual Patient Education, you help medical speech-language pathology students learn what life with a condition is really like. You bring a human perspective to their education, one that cannot be found in textbooks or lectures alone.
